Review – PDair Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000/SGH-i717 – Book Type (Black/Red Stitching)

For those who have bought their new Samsung Galaxy Note and like the book style cases, then I have a review for you. Today I am looking at PDair’s new Book Type case with Black/Red Stitching. This case is soft yet feels durable, gives full protection both front and back, also with full belt clip so you can wear it in style.

I personally don’t use a Book Style case, where as my wife Lisa loves these, as she throws her phone into her black hole, I mean her handbag.. she has her car keys, purse and other stuff which can give you some possible if not likely scratches /marks to your smartphone with the Book Style case it works for her. I used the case for over a week both in my pocket and with the supplied belt clip, both were ok to use and was actually impressed with the style and overall use, the size of the case did  how I used it over the last few weeks, my black work jeans have very large pockets so fitted in with plenty of room, however with Levis jeans it was a bit tighter this is due to the size of the pockets, in this situation the belt clip came into it’s own.

THE CASE…
The case looks great from the outset, smart and stylish, can be used in any situation weather it for personal or for business. As you can see in the photo below what really pops is the stitching …IMG_2715

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL…

Magnetic clip closed… Magnetic clip open…

Stand at the end of the case, stops the Note from going further down the case… Clips on the sides keep the Note tight with in the case…

IMG_2720 IMG_2722
Slight indenting of the case to accommodate the Home button Speaker holes and section cut out for access to S Pen…

Belt clip stud screws into the back of the case… Nice etched in PDair logo, looks smart…
THE STICHING…

The main distinguishing part of this case for me is the Red stitching, it just pops out and makes the case look very smart and gives it real style…  comes in a range of colours – Black/Green Stitching & Black/Orange Stitching
INSTALLATION…
The Samsung Note slides down into the case from the top, I did feel a bit unsure if the case might be scratched but the tabs are covered in leather so protects the Note as it goes in.

The Note feels solid in the case with no movement.

BELT CLIP…

Surprisingly the case felt comfortable, first pic is me sitting down and the second one is standing…

It felt secure and was easy to move it forward or back and as per above can take the case off the belt clip with one hand…
