Dev-Team: No Jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2

pineapple-225x300Some bad news for those who will be buying an iPhone soon (me): The iPhone Dev-Team has officially stated that they will not be releasing a jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2.  The reason is that they believe the cat-and-mouse game is getting too far with Apple releasing updates only to patch holes, most notably the recent hole.  Also, they want to wait for FW 4.1 to find a bug, rather than find one in 4.0.2, only to have it patched up in 4.1.  So in a sense they have good reason.  I just hope 4.1 is out before I buy my iPhone 🙂
