8 Million Kinects in 60 days. Wow!

Impressive numbers, but this is not the only announcement. Avatar Kinect to be delivered as an included service with an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Avatar Kinect is a service that will allow users connect with their own avatar to different environments and talk avatar-to-avatar and other services. Avatar Kinect will include not only the usual Kinect body movement recognition but face, mouth and eyebrow movement to reproduce face expressions more accurately.

Additionally, some Xbox applications such as Netflix, Hulu, Zune even a partnership with ESPN to include controlling with Kinect.
